Long walnut and stainless steel boat cleats
Long walnut and stainless steel boat cleats
The long style of this board is perfect for serving charcuterie, cheeses, tapas or just general grazing. It features stainless steel boat cleats. (The same ones used on yachts and commercial vessels!) This board also has recessed non-marking rubber feet and a large chamfer around the bottom adding an almost boat-like look to the board.

Care information
Care information
Wooden cutting boards require a little extra care compared to other materials. To keep your wooden cutting board in good condition, you should:
1. Clean it after each use with warm water and dish soap.
2. Dry it immediately with a clean cloth or paper towel.
3. Apply mineral oil regularly to keep the wood from drying out and cracking. You may consider using a “board butter” or “conditioner”, which is mineral oil and Beeswax combined. This gives the board more of a luster, added moisture protection and a pleasant smell. (Board butter available on my website.)
4. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources; this will help prevent warping or cracking of the wood.
5. Avoid submerging the cutting board in water, as this can cause the wood to swell and warp.
6. Never put the cutting board in the dishwasher, as this can damage its surface over time.
7. Sanitize your wooden cutting board by wiping it down with white vinegar or a mixture of water and bleach after each use, especially after raw meat has been cut on it; this will help prevent bacteria growth on the surface of the board. (My board butter has pure lemon oil in it to provide extra protection against bacteria.)
